About the role
- As a Consortium Procurement Specialist you will be accountable for converting potential revenue through the relationship with the client, which translates in the delivery of our procurement service.
- This role is an operational and commercial role, which involves liaising with clients at a senior level.
- You will be responsible for strategy scoping, sourcing, negotiating, and implementing supply agreements for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within the energy industry
- Good understanding of commodity markets and the effect of different types of purchasing.
- Excellent understanding of all Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
- Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
- Previous experience producing reports in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for external clients
- Strong ability to make recommendations after thorough assessment of objectives, risks and available options.
- Good attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills to enable to identify options/recommendations
