About the role
- This position is a unique opportunity to shape the communicative voice of an international B2B brand and sustainably develop its perception

- Your work will ensure that individual actions form a coherent story and that visibility becomes genuine brand relevance
- These development opportunities arise from the unique role at the center of our marketing communication: you will work at the intersection of content, brand, and visual execution
- You will combine storytelling with strategic thinking and creative excellence
- You will be responsible for our press relations, manage social media—both written and visual content,
- create photos and videos at events, and being “really good to have” in video production and editing
- Additionally, you will develop content for our website blog and support SEO-optimized content in close collaboration with our SEO agency
- Internal communication will also be in your hands, ensuring employees stay informed and involved
- Our vision is that within the coming months you will establish a clear, recognizable communication framework that positions Surplex as a strong, modern, and trustworthy B2B brand—with consistent tone, relevant content, and scalable formats for international markets
- You will work closely with Country Marketing Managers, central marketing functions, HR, and external partners and have the space to think and implement communication holistically
- This is not just about content production, but about impact: content that provides orientation, conveys emotion, and makes the brand tangible
- You will translate complex topics into understandable stories, ensure a consistent brand presence, and develop content that provides orientation and identification both internally and externally
- This role is aimed at someone who sees communication not as an add-on but as a central steering instrument for a brand
Requirements
- Experience in marketing, communications, or content creation
- Strong sense for language, storytelling, and visual communication
- Practical experience with social media, video editing, and Canva
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Interest in brand work and international communication
- Structured, independent working style with a team-oriented approach
- Creativity combined with strategic understanding
