About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate business needs into actionable IT demands
- Advocate for divisional leadership in enterprise IT planning
- Ensure technology delivery supports safe, efficient healthcare operations
- Build trusted relationships with division leadership and stakeholders
- Assist with prioritizing IT demand and guide divisional IT requests
- Collaborate with corporate IT leaders for project prioritization
- Monitor IT service performance and resolve service gaps
- Partner with project managers and divisional stakeholders for initiative alignment
- Promote compliance with corporate IT standards and cybersecurity controls
- Communicate IT changes to divisional stakeholders
- Act as point of coordination for IT issue resolution
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field, or comparable work experience.
- Proven experience, typically 5+ years, in IT leadership, client delivery, relationship management, healthcare technology operations, or related roles.
- In-depth understanding of IT service delivery, demand management, incident escalation, project delivery, change management, governance, and continuous improvement practices.
- Prior healthcare operations or healthcare IT experience related to hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, or other care delivery environments is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory, privacy, security, audit, and compliance expectations, including HIPAA and applicable corporate governance standards.
- Ability to travel as needed to support divisional leadership, facility engagement, critical initiatives, escalations, projects and operational reviews; estimated travel up to 50.
