About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Works with and supports interdepartmental and facility teams companywide
  • Reviews and evaluates complex applications/forms/requests of healthcare regulatory licensure and Medicare enrollment documentation
  • Processes and monitors applications for ASCs, hospitals, and practices
  • Communicates with ASC, hospital and practice teams and external authorities regarding licensure and healthcare regulatory matters
  • Maintains accurate and current files and databases
  • Supports and maintains healthcare regulatory licensure processes and Medicare enrollments
  • Supports problem resolution related to licensure matters and Medicare enrollments
  • Analyzes and compiles ownership and management disclosure information
  • Creates and maintains ASC, hospital, and practice ownership charts
  • Supports due diligence processes for proposed transactions
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with various healthcare regulatory authorities
  • Collaborates as part of a team on healthcare regulatory related duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in health and/or business preferred
  • Knowledge of computer systems, and spreadsheet applications
  • Knowledge of state, federal and local regulations
  • Knowledge of company formation and organization structure
  • Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication and interpersonal relations
  • Skilled in working with Windows based software systems
  • Skilled in Intermediate Microsoft Word Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook
