About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Works with and supports both interdepartmental and facility teams companywide to include reviewing and evaluating complex application/forms/requests of all healthcare regulatory licensure and Medicare enrollment documentation for accuracy and M&A and divesture transaction processes.
Processes and monitors applications for ASCs, hospitals, and practices.
Communicates with ASC, hospital and practice teams and external Federal, State and Local authorities regarding licensure and healthcare regulatory matters as needed.
Maintains accurate and current files and databases.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 - 7 years of relevant work experience, in an in-house legal department or law firm.
Bachelor's degree in health and/or business preferred.
Knowledge of computer systems, and spreadsheet applications.
Knowledge of state, federal and local regulations.
Knowledge of company formation and organization structure.
Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Skilled in written and verbal communication and interpersonal relations.
Skilled in working with Windows based software systems.
Skilled in Intermediate Microsoft Word Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
