About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Works with and supports both interdepartmental and facility teams companywide to include reviewing and evaluating complex application/forms/requests of all healthcare regulatory licensure and Medicare enrollment documentation for accuracy and M&A and divesture transaction processes.
- Processes and monitors applications for ASCs, hospitals, and practices.
- Communicates with ASC, hospital and practice teams and external Federal, State and Local authorities regarding licensure and healthcare regulatory matters as needed.
- Maintains accurate and current files and databases.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience, in an in-house legal department or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree in health and/or business preferred.
- Knowledge of computer systems, and spreadsheet applications.
- Knowledge of state, federal and local regulations.
- Knowledge of company formation and organization structure.
- Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in written and verbal communication and interpersonal relations.
- Skilled in working with Windows based software systems.
- Skilled in Intermediate Microsoft Word Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
