About the role
- Partner with leaders to understand current and future hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Deliver a consistent, candidate-focused hiring experience
- Develop and manage early career and campus recruiting programs
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
- Coordinate interview logistics, debriefs, and hiring decisions
- Prepare offers and manage pre-employment and onboarding processes
- Support onboarding programs and continuous process improvement
- Manage job postings and external recruiting partners as needed
- Support broader HR initiatives and department needs as a reliable and proactive team resource
Requirements
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in financial services, insurance, or a regulated environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Proven success sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms
- Experience building or supporting campus and early career recruiting programs preferred
- Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly learn technical and specialized roles (including surety-related positions)
- Demonstrated ability to partner with leaders, influence hiring decisions, and build stakeholder trust
- Experience delivering high-quality candidate experiences from sourcing through onboarding
- Familiarity with Predictive Index (PI) or similar assessment tools preferred
- Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics and insights to guide recruiting strategy
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and time management skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Self-starter who enjoys building programs, improving processes, and taking ownership
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
