About the role
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities and sales pipelines within the financial services sector
- Develop and execute a robust, localized go-to-market strategy tailored for Malaysia
- Spearhead the coordination and collaboration with enterprise accounts, prospects, and internal product & delivery teams
- Translate commercial negotiations and deal closure into actionable tasks and deliverables
- Gather and relay client needs, market intelligence, and product deployment feedback
- Monitor and report on sales pipelines, enterprise account performance, and deal metrics
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B Enterprise financial software/fintech sales (8+ years)
- Strong network across banks, MFIs, payments companies, and fintechs
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including banking operations
- Experience with core banking systems or financial infrastructure is a significant plus
- Deep knowledge of the Malaysian financial landscape
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand client challenges
- Sufficient technical understanding to discuss integrations and technical requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
