About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Track inbound and outbound inventory to monitor flow and stock levels
- Reconcile inventory to ensure computer counts match physical counts
- Help set ideal reorder points based on usage frequency, vendor delivery times and seasonal demand patterns
- Generate and interpret sales reports and trends to predict inventory needs and ordering timelines
- Reorder stock according to periodic automatic replenishment (PAR) levels or company requests
- Develop and utilize inventory control methods such as just-in-time (JIT) and first-in, first-out (FIFO)
- Communicate with employees and vendors to answer questions and facilitate inventory purchases
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing and logistics to align inventory with operational needs
- Complete final testing of Supermicro and OEM RMA products
- Perform ECO and BIOS upgrades
- Provide testing support for PC systems and servers
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with inventory management software is a plus
- Good soldering and de-soldering skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to set priorities, multi-task, resolve problems and manage time
- Regular in-office attendance during standard working hours
- Ability to commute to and work at the designated San Jose office location
