About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Product Managers to define system specifications, configurations, and feature requirements
Lead and support the full system development lifecycle from concept and design through launch, production, and end-of-life
Ensure system deliverables meet quality, schedule, and performance targets
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Component Management, and Lab teams
Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams to resolve system-level issues
Support system bring-up, assembly, validation, and testing activities in the lab
Assemble and integrate CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, networking, GPU, and drives
Conduct system-level root cause analysis for hardware, firmware, and integration issues
Define and implement corrective actions with R&D teams
Provide technical guidance to manufacturing and production teams for pilot runs, production ramp, and quality improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with 1–2 years of equivalent experience
Hands-on experience with strong attention to detail, patience, and a careful, methodical work style
Basic understanding of server/computer architecture and hardware, including CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, networking, GPU, PCIe, SATA, and SAS protocols
Understanding of OS-level concepts and system integration
Experience with system configuration, validation, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance benchmarking
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
Proficiency with hand and power tools for system assembly and hardware installation
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
