About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Product Managers to define system specifications, configurations, and feature requirements
- Lead and support the full system development lifecycle from concept and design through launch, production, and end-of-life
- Ensure system deliverables meet quality, schedule, and performance targets
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Component Management, and Lab teams
- Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams to resolve system-level issues
- Support system bring-up, assembly, validation, and testing activities in the lab
- Assemble and integrate CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, networking, GPU, and drives
- Conduct system-level root cause analysis for hardware, firmware, and integration issues
- Define and implement corrective actions with R&D teams
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing and production teams for pilot runs, production ramp, and quality improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with 1–2 years of equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with strong attention to detail, patience, and a careful, methodical work style
- Basic understanding of server/computer architecture and hardware, including CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, networking, GPU, PCIe, SATA, and SAS protocols
- Understanding of OS-level concepts and system integration
- Experience with system configuration, validation, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance benchmarking
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
- Proficiency with hand and power tools for system assembly and hardware installation
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
