Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end delivery of complex, customer-driven hardware projects with intricate Bills of Materials
Coordinate across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams
Own project schedules, risk management, material readiness, and cross-functional execution
Keep stakeholders aligned and proactively remove blockers
Ensure on-time delivery while balancing multiple workstreams
Manage multiple rack and cluster hardware projects in parallel
Manage escalations and challenges from customers, internal leadership teams, and external vendors
Support off-hours project needs and coordinate with teams across global time zones
Travel occasionally and host meetings across global time zones

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of project management experience
Proven success managing complex hardware projects involving intricate Bills of Materials (BoM)
Expert-level proficiency in Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or equivalent project tracking tools
Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, typically 1 large and 2–3 smaller projects
Strong cross-functional leadership skills in a matrix environment
Ability to influence and coordinate without direct authority
Excellent organizational skills and ability to switch between projects, priorities, and stakeholder groups
Ability to communicate eloquently with customers
Resiliency in managing escalations and challenges from customers, internal leadership teams, and external vendors
Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week at the San Jose headquarters
Availability on a project basis to travel and host meetings across global time zones
Experience in data center infrastructure, server/rack hardware, or high-tech manufacturing/NPI environments preferred
Background managing customer-facing hardware projects preferred
PMP or equivalent certification preferred
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
