About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, milestone trackers, cost trackers, and action item logs for assigned DCBBS projects
- Support end-to-end planning activities across proposal, SOW development, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases
- Track and manage project risks, open decisions, long-lead items, and cross-functional dependencies with clear owners, due dates, and escalation paths
- Provide regular, clear status reporting on cost, schedule, risks, and progress to leadership, engineering teams, and customer-facing stakeholders
- Develop and maintain repeatable planning templates, cost tracking formats, execution playbooks, and governance processes for consistent DCBBS project delivery
- Coordinate with internal engineering, supply chain, construction, and external vendors/partners to align plans, resolve dependencies, and drive execution discipline
- Identify and communicate cost and schedule variances, risks, and decision points early, supporting proactive mitigation and stakeholder alignment
- Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of planning, cost management, and execution processes to enhance delivery predictability and scalability.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related technical/financial field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years in data center program management, construction estimation, or design-for-cost roles
- At least 3 years of experience working with financial controls, project controls, or technical projects in data center or mission-critical environments
- Demonstrated experience managing estimation workflows, analyzing trade package pricing, and utilizing cost management / PMIS platforms (e.g., e-Builder, Procore)
- Strong experience developing and maintaining project schedules, cost trackers, risk registers, and financial reporting in complex cross-functional programs
- Proficiency with enterprise financial tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and project management information systems for tracking, variance analysis, and reporting
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills with the ability to present cost/schedule status and recommendations clearly
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with experience identifying cost/schedule impacts and cross-functional dependencies.
