About the role
- Design and develop advanced liquid cooling systems, including direct-to-chip (D2C) and other liquid cooling solutions
- Conduct feasibility studies for liquid cooling solutions
- Perform thermal simulations and analysis to optimize cooling performance and efficiency
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance thermal management and reduce energy consumption
- Develop and assemble prototypes to validate design concepts and ensure they meet performance criteria
- Conduct rigorous testing, including thermal cycling, pressure testing, and leak detection
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, or a related field
- Deep understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD) for creating detailed designs and schematics
- Experience with thermal analysis and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools for modeling and optimizing cooling systems
- Knowledge of materials used in liquid cooling systems, including their thermal properties and compatibility with various coolants.
