About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop product roadmaps for internal teams and customers
  • Develop customer relationships, promote appropriate products, and work with sales/FAE teams to close deals
  • Research customer applications and provide feedback to engineering teams on product optimization
  • Promote products to internal teams and customers
  • Create positioning statements, marketing and sales training materials, and product specifications
  • Present training materials to internal sales forces and external audiences
  • Travel periodically to visit customers and attend trade shows
  • Conduct competitive analysis and develop an industry partner ecosystem
  • Drive technical issues to closure by coordinating resources and engaging engineering teams to duplicate and debug issues
  • Serve as third-level technical support and provide pre-sales and post-sales support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS degree in engineering discipline or business is highly preferable
  • 2+ years of IT related experience preferred
  • Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Effective organization and planning skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional organizations
  • Creative thinker, to develop new strategies and solutions
  • Ability to lead extended teams and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of market trends and customer needs
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Solid communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
