About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive and support engineering activities for server and high-density system designs
Lead system-level integration, bring-up, and validation of servers
Interface with customers to analyze technical problems and provide solutions
Proactively identify and escalate critical issues to senior management and vendors
Ensure timely and effective resolution of product-related challenges
Identify, escalate, and resolve critical engineering issues from the production line
Support early PM sample builds and first factory builds
Work with quality teams on documentation and analysis
Research server architectures and emerging technologies
Define and implement data center and server technologies
Create proof of concepts and technical feature paper presentations
Serve as a subject matter expert for product managers and system engineers on application benchmarks, including AI inferencing, server performance, networking, storage, and virtualization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent work experiences
0–2 years of experience in server development, system architecture, or hardware engineering
Strong understanding of computer/server architecture and electronic fundamentals
Hands-on experience with server bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to effectively interact with customers
Familiarity with industry trends and standards such as AI, virtualization technologies, cloud computing, data center, hosting, and cloud gaming is highly advantageous
