About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform visual inspections of products prior to testing to ensure readiness and compliance with quality protocols.
- Conduct tests to identify defective components or areas and log findings in the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) repair database.
- Execute Engineering Change Order (ECO) upgrades to implement design or process modifications.
- Perform motherboard repair and testing, add-on card repair and testing, backplane repair and testing, ECO rework, and BIOS upgrades.
- Follow supervisor instructions, established testing procedures, and production schedules.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
- Follow company and production department policies and procedures for operational integrity and safety.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A diploma in electronic or electrical engineering is preferred; however, candidates possessing a related technical certificate will also be given strong consideration.
- Fundamental understanding of Personal Computer (PC), system, and server operations, including proficient basic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in operating systems, specifically Windows and/or Linux, for system diagnostics and repair.
- Skilled use of diagnostic hand tools for effective hardware and system evaluation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
- Proactive and collaborative team-oriented mindset, with a constructive and solution-focused approach.
- Reliability, accountability, and strong professional responsibility.
