About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshoot and repair Supermicro RMA products to meet commercial standards and customer satisfaction
- Test and calibrate Supermicro/OEM RMA products and final assemblies
- Follow drawings and written and verbal instructions to complete work assignments
- Determine job status, including checking shortages and closing work orders
- Determine material status of jobs
- Reference pertinent procedures, drawings, and specifications for proposed changes
- Physically locate job materials within the assembly/test calibration area
- Perform ECO upgrades
- Report defective parts to the RMA Repair Database
- Provide onsite customer support service as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical school certificate or college degree is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a test technician preferred
- Good operation software skills in Windows or Linux
- Must be a team player
- Capable of self-motivated hard work with a positive attitude
- Demonstrated skills and experience in electronic circuit analysis and troubleshooting
- Good soldering and de-soldering skills
