About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive continuous improvement in key technology, network, infrastructure and systems controls to support effective risk management, regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
SOCI Program Owner: Manage Superloop's Telecommunications Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program
Maintain the register of critical infrastructure assets
Review and uplift of key controls linked to SOCI material risks and hazards
Co-ordination of critical infrastructure regulatory notifications and reporting
Provide risk support to the technology procurement and vendor governance program
Participation in business transformation programs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven capability in managing technology risks within complex technology‑centric organisations
Experience working with complex technology environments, including enterprise billing platforms, cloud computing, software engineering, marketing platforms, API management and AI.
Experience working in highly regulated industries including telecommunications, energy and infrastructure
Knowledge of the Australian regulatory environment including SOCI and telecommunication industry obligations
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving risk culture uplift
Experience working on complex transformation projects
Degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Engineering or related discipline
Industry certifications desirable (e.g., CRISC, CISM, CISSP, ITIL, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer).
