Remote position for Epic Change Management and Communication Lead in Texas healthcare context.
Lead change enabler for Epic implementation; drive user adoption, minimize resistance, ensure seamless communication.
Develop and execute change management and communication strategies aligned with organizational goals to support Epic implementation with minimal disruption.
Design and implement change management strategies; collaborate with project managers and stakeholders for smooth transitions and on-time deliverables.
Lead and coordinate user adoption with training staff and project team members.
Develop change management and communication plans aligned with implementation phases and scope.
Apply structured methodologies to drive change management activities; conduct impact analyses, assess readiness, identify stakeholders; provide input for training design and delivery; complete assessments and mitigation plans; integrate activities into project plans; evaluate end-user readiness.
Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategy across channels (email, intranet, town halls); cascade messages with leadership and super users; create feedback loops; measure readiness and adapt plans.
Support training initiatives by promoting schedules and reinforcing readiness expectations.
Coordinate go-live and post-go-live communications, including updates and stabilization progress.
Serve as trusted advisor on change management best practices.
Provide ongoing support for upgrades, releases, and issue resolution per ITIL processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in health, science, business, or related field; or 5+ years equivalent professional experience in clinical, ancillary, or business environments.
Strong knowledge of clinical information systems, clinical informatics, and data management.
Experience in large-scale healthcare information systems implementation, development, and support.
Demonstrated experience working with clinicians in support and/or educational roles.
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in team environments.
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
5–7 years of clinical information systems experience (Epic preferred).
Significant role in a prior Epic configuration and implementation.
Ability to advise senior leadership on system functionality and performance.
ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
Active Epic Certification, Accreditation, or Proficiency preferred.
