About the role
- Partner with the internal Epic Prelude analyst and project team to implement Waystar RTE, RTA, and Coverage Insurance Verification solutions within Epic.
- Participate in and advise on system decisions, solution design, Epic build, configuration, and testing related to the Waystar implementation.
- Support the transition from Experian insurance verification products to Waystar, leveraging existing Epic/Experian build and mappings where possible.
- Collaborate with Prelude, revenue cycle, and project stakeholders to ensure accurate insurance data flow and validation.
- Assist in the development of end-user training materials and support knowledge transfer to operational teams.
- Provide expert guidance to optimize ongoing Prelude maintenance, insurance data integrity, and future data mapping strategies.
- Support testing and validation activities across Epic and Waystar environments to ensure readiness for go-live.
Requirements
- Epic Prelude certification (required)
- Epic RTE certification (required)
- Proven experience implementing Waystar RTE, RTA, and Coverage Insurance Verification products
- Hands-on experience transitioning from Experian insurance verification solutions to Waystar
- Strong understanding of Epic Prelude workflows, insurance build, and payer data mapping
- Experience working in collaborative, multi-workstream Epic implementation projects.
