About the role
- Analyze, design, build, test, and implement Epic Cadence configurations to support enterprise scheduling modernization
- Standardize clinic visit types, visit modes, and provider templates aligned to operational governance
- Partner closely with Epic MyChart Analysts on Fast Pass and direct scheduling enablement
- Support ambulatory leaders in improving slot utilization, template management, and access guidelines
- Drive improvements that reduce scheduling friction and call center volume
- Develop test scripts, conduct system validation, and support cutover and go-live readiness
- Provide troubleshooting and issue resolution across scheduling workflows and integrated dependencies
- Document build decisions, operational impacts, and best practice recommendations
Requirements
- Epic Cadence certification
- 5+ years hands-on Cadence build experience in a healthcare delivery environment
- Strong understanding of access governance and scheduling optimization
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clinic operations, call centers, and technical teams
- Experience supporting large-scale Epic initiatives and structured release cycles
- Preferred Experience with online scheduling modernization and legacy IDX transitions
- Understanding of ambulatory revenue cycle impacts (registration, referrals, auth).
