About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and support a local customer-focused sales and service team
- Manage strategic customer relationships and serve as the primary technical sales contact
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales, profitability, and growth objectives
- Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, inspections, and process optimization
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of chemical feed and delivery systems
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships
- Monitor product performance and service quality while resolving customer concerns
- Conduct data analysis and document return-on-investment (ROI) for existing and proposed applications
- Prepare and deliver timely customer service reports and business updates
- Communicate customer requirements, project opportunities, and operational needs internally
- Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting, expense reporting, and customer records
- Attend industry conferences, customer meetings, and company training programs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support project completion efforts across the assigned territory.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in: Paper Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 10–15 years of experience in the paper manufacturing industry
- Proven technical sales and account management experience
- Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans
- Strong customer relationship-building and communication skills
- Experience documenting and presenting ROI analyses
- Proficiency with data analysis, reporting, and business planning
- Strong project leadership and organizational skills
