About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guiding the Kotlin backend developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications
  • Collaborating with the software architect to define and evolve system architecture
  • Actively engaging in coding, code review, and enforcing best practices
  • Collaborating with Customer Support, Infrastructure Support, and Application Support teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficiency in Java ecosystem, familiarity with Java 17, 21
  • Kotlin experience is a huge plus
  • Familiarity with back-end frameworks such as Spring, Micronaut, or similar technologies
  • Experience with AI-powered coding tools/agents
  • Strong OOP mindset and commitment to SOLID principles
  • Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Genuine interest in latest industry trends
  • Passion for writing clean code
  • Expertise in Containerization and Kubernetes is a significant advantage
  • Familiarity with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members
  • At least an intermediate level of English language skills
