About the role
- Work closely with the Executive Director to lead on-field coaching and behind-the-scenes operations.
- Coach classes for ages 1–8 and step in to lead sessions as needed.
- Oversee scheduling, staff assignments, and "Swap Meets" for coaches; serve as primary point of contact for schedule changes.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor coaches; provide ongoing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Visit sites weekly to observe classes and provide structured performance reviews.
- Ensure excellent parent communication and consistent program experiences.
- Support marketing events to grow programs within partner schools and community sites and drive program growth.
Requirements
- 1–2+ years working with children in early childhood education, sports coaching, or youth programs.
- Strong mentoring and leadership skills, with experience in training or supervising others.
- Excellent at scheduling, planning, and juggling multiple priorities.
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and motivated to inspire both kids and coaches.
- Comfortable with hybrid work— managing operations and coaching on-site across multiple locations in different cities.
- Based in Greater Austin with reliable transportation across Georgetown, Leander, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Spicewood, North & South Austin.
- Comfortable with MS Office, CRM systems, and admin tools.
