About the role

  • Join Super.com's engineering team as a Software Engineering Intern focused on travel, fintech, and a superapp membership
  • Ship technically challenging projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Own features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing
  • Write production-ready, well-tested code quickly (expected in your first week)
  • Be data-driven and close to the customer, performing experiments for nearly everything launched
  • Work on a combination of frontend and backend work across multiple services and codebases
  • Contribute to systems that handle thousands of requests per second, ingest over 1TB of data per day, and process significant daily sales while maintaining 99.9+% uptime

Requirements

  • At least 8 months of web development work experience
  • Preferably exposure to a dynamic, startup or scaleup environment
  • Experience working with a modern frontend JS framework (ex. React, Vue, Angular)
  • Experience working with web servers
  • Experience taking ownership and shipping entire features end-to-end
  • Ability to learn quickly across languages and technologies
  • Interest in working on both frontend and backend components of features
  • Interest in working with React on the frontend and Python on the backend
  • Thrives on decoding intricate problems with logical, well-reasoned solutions
