About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Audit existing infrastructure components to identify cloud-specific dependencies and build a structured, actionable migration backlog
- Design and implement cloud-agnostic abstractions over compute, networking, and storage layers
- Maintain and evolve our Kubernetes-based workload orchestration to run portably across cloud environments
- Collaborate with platform and product engineering teams to ensure new work is built with multi-cloud portability in mind from the start
- Contribute to architecture decisions around target cloud environments and colocated infrastructure options
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering
- Experienced with Kubernetes and comfortable running it across multiple environments
- Worked with Pulumi or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling
- Been through at least one cloud abstraction, portability, or re-platforming initiative
- Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in async or globally distributed teams
- Energized by solving real-world problems for developers
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly
