About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Member of our Technical Operations team as a Support Engineer in a currently five-person team.
- Handling 2nd and 3rd level tickets.
- Participating in vendor TAC calls.
- Problem management using appropriate methods and tools such as Wireshark.
- Performing minor and major updates.
- Evaluating and planning major changes.
- Supporting service transitions and service onboardings.
- Interaction with Cisco colleagues in Professional Services.
- 70% operations, 30% project work.
- 70% security services, 30% networking.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant experience (3–5 years) with firewalls, primarily Cisco Firepower; experience with other vendors is a plus.
- Cisco ISE.
- Cisco Umbrella and Cisco Duo.
- Syslog servers such as Graylog (or similar).
- LAN/WLAN – classic Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Catalyst.
- German language level at least C1.
- Willingness to travel.
