About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Member of the Professional Services team in our six-person Cisco team as a Senior SE/Consultant or Solution Architect depending on suitability and skills.
Consulting and planning of Cisco security and network solutions.
Conducting workshops.
Creating concepts/designs according to the required content and scope.
Developing migration plans, in particular migrations between firewall vendors (e.g., from vendor A to vendor B).
Implementing projects independently or as part of a team.
Technical project leadership.
Approximately 90% project work and 10% support; currently about 70% Security Services and 30% Networking.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant experience (>5 years) in firewalls, foremost Cisco Firepower; experience with other vendors is welcome.
Cisco ISE.
SD-WAN.
Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Duo.
LAN/WLAN.
Cisco Classic, Cisco Meraki, Catalyst.
Data center networking such as Nexus (ACI is a plus).
German language level: at least C1.
