About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automated tests
  • Improve and extend test automation frameworks and architecture
  • Ensure stable and efficient CI integration for automated tests
  • Analyze test failures, perform root cause analysis, and propose fixes
  • Take ownership of test coverage and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with developers to improve testability and product quality
  • Review test code and contribute to best practices in automation
  • Prepare and manage test data, environments, and test scenarios
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment
  • Support and mentor junior QA engineers
  • Actively contribute to process improvements in QA and automation

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing
  • Strong experience with Playwright (Node.js / TypeScript)
  • Solid experience in UI and API test automation
  • Experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript (async, OOP basics, structure)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
  • Confident use of Git
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with test design techniques and different testing types
  • Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
  • Good English writing and speaking skills
  • Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) in daily work
