About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serves as the engineering lead for the cross-functional teams supporting SunStrong’s Salesforce platform
- Leads a team of Salesforce software engineers
- Responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing team
- Oversees architectural and design decisions across the Salesforce platform
- Provides code reviews and mentorship
- Facilitates Agile sprint ceremonies
- Identifies, implements and promotes opportunities to improve team delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 8+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years experience in a leadership role
- Deep hands-on experience as engineering leader across enterprise scale Salesforce ecosystem
- Experience effectively leveraging AI tooling to improve app quality and delivery
- Deep experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce metadata model
- Strong command of governor limits, bulkification, security model, and performance tuning
- Proven experience with integration design (REST/SOAP, async processing, error handling, retry patterns)
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Integration Architect, or Data Cloud credentials.
