About the role

  • Work with your manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
  • Develop new business and manage relationships with existing customers within assigned territory
  • Successfully build and maintain long-term business relationships
  • Full cycle prospecting including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
  • Regularly make in-person sales calls to existing customers and new prospects
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed goals
  • Utilize tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory
  • Cover a sales territory in Columbus, OH and surrounding areas

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-year technical degree or better preferred (fluid power or related) or combination of work experience, training and education
  • Fluid Power Certification preferred
  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience (preference for fluid power)
  • Previous sales experience selling mobile hydraulic service/repair preferred
  • Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment (mobile and industrial) is a plus
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Demonstrated experience achieving and/or exceeding sales goals
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license
  • Overnight travel may be required
  • Routine on-site customer visits in industrial settings and ability to drive moderate to long distances
  • May be required to lift items weighing as much as 50lbs
