About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage quality and safety through jobsite visits and photo review
Document site visit findings to track and drive timelines
Travel up to 5 nights per week to visit field projects
Communicate with the Project Manager when field issues arise
Follow up on previous escalations to ensure completion
Review safety plans before visiting jobsites and enforce them throughout the project
Complete final job closeout and commissioning verification
Perform daily in-person analysis of workmanship quality
Oversee construction sites, subcontractors, and workers
Ensure work complies with approved manuals, procedures, contract documents, and permitted designs
Discuss project progress and schedules with site personnel and update the Project Manager
Ensure each site operates and communicates properly before final QC sign-off

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 8 years of experience in general industry, construction, engineering, or electrical trade work
Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in commercial construction trades
Minimum of 5 years of successful layout and print reading experience
Clean driving record and ability to pass a driving background check
At least 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite Platform, Word, and Excel
Strong knowledge of construction and general industry safety regulations, including Federal, OSHA, and basic state programs
Strong working knowledge of three-phase electrical and utility electrical service requirements
Ability to maintain professional presence, internal communication, and customer interaction
Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business
Ability to transport materials and equipment up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb extension ladders and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on pitched rooftops
Ability to work safely on construction jobsites and in warehouses
Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
Ability to travel up to 100% of the time
Journeyman electrical certification preferred
