About the role
- Lead financial planning (budget, forecast, and results analysis)
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities
- Manage CAPEX and consolidate portfolio results
- Support financial close and preparation of executive reports
- Analyze operational performance of assets (generation, availability, cost per MWh)
- Monitor OPEX and propose efficiency and margin improvements
- Develop and enhance dashboards and analyses to support decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Financial Planning within the energy sector
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills for interacting with leadership
- Knowledge of operational metrics (generation, availability, cost/MWh, O&M)
- Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Controlling, or related areas
- Experience working in high-demand, fast-paced environments
