About the role

  • Support in implementing an IFRS 16 leasing tool and a disclosure management tool
  • Active participation in integrating these solutions into the existing system landscape
  • Support in the structured preparation of financial information for financial statements and reports
  • Continuous development and improvement of implemented tools, systems and processes
  • Work with the general ledger and subledger (GL & subledger)
  • Maintain customer master data to ensure high data quality
  • Support in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Assist with reporting activities and optimization of accounting processes

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Economics or a related field, ideally with a focus on Accounting, Finance or Tax
  • Good knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and ideally IFRS
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting processes
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Analytical understanding of monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes as well as reporting requirements
  • Ideally some first experience with SAP FI/CO or other ERP systems
  • Interest in digitalization projects within the finance function
