About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As an Assistant Foreman, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution and profitable delivery of projects by providing hands-on support, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with project leadership.
- Directly assist and lead the setup and tear down of equipment for various operational systems, including Pumping Systems, Power Generation and Distribution Systems, HVAC Systems, Energy and Temporary Utility Systems.
- Actively participate in the rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response efforts.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices for every task and duty.
- Collaborate closely with Project Leads and management to monitor project timelines and resource allocation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; additional technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus
- Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance or related role specifically with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, a/c and heat and water restoration or construction equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent verbal and written skills to interact effectively with customers, team members and internal resources.
