About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Play a crucial role in the successful execution and profitable delivery of projects by providing hands-on support, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with project leadership.
  • Directly assist and lead the setup and tear down of equipment for various operational systems.
  • Actively participate in the rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response efforts.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Identify potential hazards and implement necessary controls to ensure project execution and minimize risk.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Leads and management to monitor project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and that all deployed equipment is running efficiently.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; additional technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus
  • Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance or related role specifically with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, a/c and heat and water restoration or construction equipment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to interact effectively with customers, team members and internal resources.
