About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Play a crucial role in the successful execution and profitable delivery of projects by providing hands-on support, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with project leadership.
Directly assist and lead the setup and tear down of equipment for various operational systems.
Actively participate in the rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response efforts.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
Identify potential hazards and implement necessary controls to ensure project execution and minimize risk.
Collaborate closely with Project Leads and management to monitor project timelines and resource allocation.
Ensure projects are completed on time and that all deployed equipment is running efficiently.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; additional technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus
Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance or related role specifically with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, a/c and heat and water restoration or construction equipment
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent verbal and written skills to interact effectively with customers, team members and internal resources.
