About the role

  • Coach and develop sales representatives to drive revenue within the region
  • Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls
  • Meet planned sales goals and increase revenue within the region
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team
  • Track sales goals and report results to stakeholders
  • Oversee sales team activities and performance
  • Coordinate with marketing on lead generation
  • Monitor competition for opportunities or trends in the market and develop action plans for growth
  • Implement Sales Training Programs for Outside Sales Representatives
  • Motivate, coach and mentor the sales team
  • Manage and develop specific key or assigned accounts
  • Promote organization and products
  • Manage specific projects on an as-needed basis to drive revenue
  • Identify and develop opportunities with specific customers or market segments
  • Develop sales presentations and coach OSRs on effective presentation skills
  • Travel to various job sites for inspections and presentations
  • Comply with company safety requirements and train sales representatives on safety procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 8 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years leading a sales team
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to providing great customer service
  • Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers
  • Must cultivate curiosity and seek to improve their knowledge
