About the role
- Coach and develop sales representatives to drive revenue within the region
- Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls
- Meet planned sales goals and increase revenue within the region
- Set individual sales targets with the sales team
- Track sales goals and report results to stakeholders
- Oversee sales team activities and performance
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation
- Monitor competition for opportunities or trends in the market and develop action plans for growth
- Implement Sales Training Programs for Outside Sales Representatives
- Motivate, coach and mentor the sales team
- Manage and develop specific key or assigned accounts
- Promote organization and products
- Manage specific projects on an as-needed basis to drive revenue
- Identify and develop opportunities with specific customers or market segments
- Develop sales presentations and coach OSRs on effective presentation skills
- Travel to various job sites for inspections and presentations
- Comply with company safety requirements and train sales representatives on safety procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
- At least 8 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years leading a sales team
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication to providing great customer service
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers
- Must cultivate curiosity and seek to improve their knowledge
