About the role

  • Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls
  • Meet planned sales goals and increase revenue within the region
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team
  • Track sales goals and report results to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team
  • Coordinate with marketing on lead generation
  • Monitor competition for new opportunities or trends in the market, develop action plans for growth
  • Implement Sales Training Programs for Outside Sales Representatives
  • Motivate, coach and mentor the sales team
  • Manage and develop specific key or assigned accounts within the region
  • Promote organization and products
  • Conduct site inspections and sales presentations
  • Comply with all company safety requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience plus at least 8 years of sales experience
  • At least 3 years leading a sales team
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to providing great customer service
  • Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers
  • Must cultivate curiosity and seek to improve their knowledge
