About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform routine to moderately complex data analysis
- Compile, analyze, and interpret financial model results supporting actuarial reserve and capital calculations, product pricing, forecasting, experience and rate studies, and miscellaneous projects
- Develop and maintain PC-based analytical programs using MS Office, AXIS, and Dataiku
- Develop model and calculator change-management test plans
- Document test results following internal guidance
- Rotate assignments in different parts of the organization every 18–24 months while in good standing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited degree program, obtained by June 2027
- Degree preferably focused in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Passed at least one Society of Actuaries exam
- Commitment to pursuing Fellowship with the Society of Actuaries
- Prior actuarial experience preferred, including internships
- Ability to translate complex, abstract concepts and theory
- Analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual-thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel/VBA
- Computer programming skills such as SQL, R, or Python are a plus
