About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to Sun Life US and global compensation initiatives through analysis, research, and operational execution
- Support the annual pay cycle by preparing and validating data
- Administer sales compensation processes including eligibility tracking, reporting, and issue resolution
- Prepare analysis and maintain records for job evaluation work using Sun Life’s career framework
- Participate in salary surveys and support the maintenance of market data
- Coordinate with HR and other partners to support compensation processes and reporting
- Use data and analytical tools to summarize information and inform compensation discussions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant compensation, HR, finance, analytics, or related business experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Working knowledge of broad-based compensation and related compliance considerations preferred
- Experience with Workday and compensation analysis tools preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
