Physical Security Data & Reporting Analyst
Sun LifeData & Reporting Analyst at Sun Life supporting Physical Security through governance and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance audit and business reporting processes.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate audit evidence, supporting documentation, and subject matter expert input for client, internal, and regulatory audits, including ISO 27001/27017, SOC 2, NIST, and other relevant frameworks.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reporting by maintaining reporting schedules, tracking deliverables, coordinating inputs, and ensuring timelines are met.
- Work with stakeholders across multiple teams to gather information, and clarify reporting requirements, to produce consistent, accurate, and executive-ready deliverables.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, summaries, and presentation materials that translate operational data into clear insights for decision-makers.
- Improve processes by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen data quality, and apply technology-enabled solutions.
- Analyze metrics, trends, and key risk indicators to identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, operational visibility, and management decision-making.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or diploma in risk management, governance, business intelligence, data analytics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in governance, reporting, audit coordination, business analysis, data analytics, or a comparable role in a large or complex organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365 Copilot, with experience using automation, reporting, or workflow tools considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise, accurate, and polished materials for leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills, with the ability to manage timelines, coordinate inputs, track deliverables, and engage with stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- High attention to detail, discretion in handling sensitive information, and comfort working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to analyze information, identify trends, and translate data into clear business insights, dashboards, reports, or executive-level materials.
