About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, direct, facilitate, respond to, and complete both Request for Proposals and Request for Information documents
Support all Life, Disability, Absence / Leave and Supplemental Health Products
Facilitate the development of comprehensive responses while coordinating and working with internal business partners
Complete RFP questionnaires on or before due date
Respond with customized, accurate, persuasive responses
Support the growth and increased functionality of the RFP Response database
Increase the visibility of the RFP Unit
Proactively identify opportunities in offering solutions to customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree preferred or applicable industry specific experience
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and experience
Requires strong time management skills, and demonstrate a responsive, service oriented professional approach
Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to develop and maintain effective, professional business relationships across all levels of the organization
Must be detail oriented, well organized and capable of managing a high volume workload with competing demands
Requires strong Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge
