About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the VP, Chief Underwriter and Claims Risk Officer
- Promote excellence and consistency in claims risk assessment
- Develop and conduct claim reviews/audits
- Recommend and implement changes to claims philosophies and practices
- Act as a senior claims resource for complex and high dollar cases
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree, with preference given to medical, science, legal or business
- Minimum 10 years of claims adjudication experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong people skills
- Bilingualism (French, English) required for Quebec
