About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reporting to the AVP, Recruiting & Strategic Growth, accountable for national execution and performance of advisor recruitment efforts.
- Leading and developing the Advisor Recruitment Consultants.
- Providing operational oversight of recruitment execution in partnership with Strategy and Select teams.
- Ensuring recruitment consultants consistently deliver against targets and leverage data and insights.
- Building strong, sustainable advisor pipelines across established and emerging markets.
- Driving disciplined execution, ensuring consistent recruitment practices while adapting to regional market realities.
- Coaching recruitment consultants using a sales-oriented approach.
- Leading efforts to build new, sustainable, and diverse advisor pipelines.
- Promoting consistent execution of recruitment activities across regions while supporting market-specific adaptations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience leading advisor recruitment or sales-focused teams with clear performance accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to run a national recruitment operation and drive consistent execution.
- Strong sales coaching capability, with experience improving conversion and performance through people leadership.
- Comfort using data and analytics to guide actions and decisions.
- Strong understanding of financial services distribution and advisor business models.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and build new, sustainable talent pipelines.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to enhancing advisor and candidate experience.
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.
