About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a portfolio of improvement initiatives that are measurable and drive value for the Finance team
- Drive cross functional business initiative/projects
- Responsible for leading process improvement projects, focusing on process re-engineering, improving process quality, and efficiency
- Develop standard practices and ensure all teams adopt consistent processes, where applicable
- Interact with leadership and peers to drive and influence improvement objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
- Experience in conducting needs analysis and evaluation
- Experience in managing large & complex projects from initiation to close
- High attention to detail and quality of work
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization at all levels
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec
- CPA or CA professional designation preferred
- Very strong accounting knowledge, preferably in group insurance
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is an asset
