Work closely with the Event Producing and Strategy and Operations teams in Broadcast and Event Services (BES)
Provide logistics, reporting, presentation preparation, vendor coordination, sourcing and general support for internal, employee and client-facing events (on-site/off-site/virtual)
Research and recommend venues, gifting, entertainment, and guest speaker options
Support online Zoom registration pages
Assist with Cvent reporting, data, and analytics to measure the ROI of events
Support the hotel contract database for Toronto, Waterloo, and Montreal
Support creation of floor plans, name badges, welcome packages, special gifts
Research new vendors and services and recommend partners
Record business partner meeting minutes for assigned events
Provide attendee coordination support and collaborate with all teams within BES for seamless event delivery
Requirements
Eligible to students with a May 2026 or later graduation date
Interest, exposure, education in Events Management
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PPT)
Ability to build strong business relationships
Knowledge of meeting and event planning and virtual event and meeting management
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Self-motivated with ability to work in a team environment
Experience with Event Management Tools
Previous work experience working in events is an asset
Ability to work a combination of remote days and attend in-person onsite/offsite events in key venues
