About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coach, motivate and mentor team members to improve and grow.
- Find innovative ways to maintain and advocate for effective training approaches in all of our Foundational Training Programs through formal and informal feedback loops.
- Advance the process of calibration with Quality, Business Practice Improvement and Knowledge Management to drive timely and effective training improvements, interventions and value add training products/approaches.
- Monitor speed to proficiency on core Disability Operational performance metrics and ensure accuracy of curriculum against operational changes.
- Work with Regional Training Leads to source Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assist in training assessments or development.
- Continually research methods and techniques in workplace training and remain up-to-date on developments within the industry and competitors.
- Collaborate with people managers and executives to build capabilities within their respective lines of business by assessing needs and recommending solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings with senior management and other key stakeholders to provide progress updates on team achievements and deliverables.
- Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all Team Curricula and associated learning objectives, to ensure sufficiently ramped Operations Employees.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in leadership
- Bachelor degree completed. Bachelor in Business, Human Resources, Education/Curriculum Development or equivalent experience are preferred
- Current, practical knowledge of Adult Education Methodologies and Corporate Learning Strategies
- Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
- Experience in Disability Case Management is an asset
- Strong business acumen, including demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Adaptability to collaborate and lead effectively under conditions of ambiguity in a fast-growth, sometimes uncertain and complex environment.
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Captivate and the Microsoft Suite
