Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advisors enjoy building long-term relationships with people and helping them create a plan for every stage of life.
  • Gain knowledge of Sun Life products, tools, and processes and develop practical skills by working directly with Sun Life clients.
  • Obtain two licenses (insurance products and mutual funds).
  • Gain experience handling inbound and outbound calls and delivering comprehensive life insurance, health insurance, and wealth management solutions to new and existing Sun Life clients.
  • Conduct business development activities and begin to define your market.
  • Carry out key activities to complete the program and launch your career as an advisor.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven achievements (professional, academic, athletic, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of personal insurance and investment products.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Enjoys building, developing, and maintaining relationships with people.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to motivate others to take action.
  • Holds the PQAP certificate or has completed all required courses and passed the program exam (required).
  • Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written) required due to frequent interactions with English- and French-speaking colleagues and partners across Canada and globally.
  • Assets: Mutual fund sales license or completion of the related course/exam.
