About the role

  • Work with Cloud Engineers and help deliver cloud platform solutions
  • Design and build infrastructure to enable Cloud Application adoption
  • Support consumers within Sunlife to get onboarded to cloud and provision environments
  • Develop roles and build a seamless onboarding process
  • Implement and operationalize new Cloud Services
  • Assist in establishing standards, patterns and best practices within AWS Cloud offerings
  • Drive forward the Cloud Infrastructure as Code roadmap
  • Participate in daily team huddles, provide status updates, highlight issues and blockers
  • Document process and best practices

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in university degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) with a April 2026 or later graduation date

  • Good understanding of Cloud Services
  • Ability to quickly grasp issues and translate to business impact
  • Technical knowledge/ Cloud Certification with one of the public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) (Nice to have)
  • Good knowledge with programming and/or scripting languages (Python, Perl, Java, Bash, Ruby) (Nice to have)
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, or Cloud Native tools (Nice to have)
