About the role
- Source new and experienced candidates for the Sun Life advisor role.
- Maintain regular contact with referral sources and community partners.
- Oversee the successful execution of a new advisor’s onboarding plan.
- Partner with District Manager and Business Development Partner for recruiting events.
- Support experienced advisors in delivering holistic business results by providing coaching.
- Guide advisors to the right partners and resources at head office.
- Conduct business assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- University degree with minimum 5 years of related experience within the financial services industry.
- Must hold a valid Life Insurance Agent’s license in the province in which your Financial Centre is located.
- Must hold a valid Mutual Fund license.
- Must have completed the Branch Manager’s Course Examination.
- Must be in good standing with applicable regulators.
- A professional financial services designation would be an asset.
- Previous experience in an advisor role.
- Previous people leadership experience.
