About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate and manage HP Indigo primer conversions at customer sites and remotely.
- Support and overlook new product introductions, customer troubleshooting and product recommendations based on end use requirements.
- Train and educate Sun Chemical Technical Service organization across EMEA to support HP Indigo customers locally with primer conversion, troubleshooting and coating selection.
- Define optimum press parameters and media profiling, document best practices for primers and coatings.
- Manage trial activities for new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to provide fitness-for-use guidance and work on customer technical resolutions.
- Participate in strategic technical meetings and process improvement initiatives.
- Report all field activity and complete technical documentation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical Degree (BS)
- Demonstrable experience in the industry
- Strong pressroom and printing process knowledge
- Expert in HP Indigo printing technology
- Experience running/supporting HP Indigo presses for Label & Packaging
- Ideally trained to HP Indigo Press Operator Level 2 or 3
- Previous experience with Flexo UV coatings
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
